  • Self Advocacy Field Trip
Posted on November 28, 2016 by Sara Baines-Miller

The 3-8th grade students went on a field trip at the end of the 2015-16 school year to practice some of the skills they learned in their self-advocacy classes. First they learned how to use the CaptiView closed caption viewing system at the AMC Loews Waterfront movie theater. They also practiced social communication at Eat-N-Park, and also had a surprise science lesson when a large tortoise was spotted outside the restaurant. Everyone had a great time!
